What more can I say about a wishlist?! Is that a challenge?
Layout; I was, lo behold, playing around in Photoshop 7.0 when I ended up making iPod-esque people. You might recognize them: Rikku (of Final Fantasy X-2), Celsius (of Tales of Symphonia), Ayanokouji Takashi/Ten-chan (of Pita Ten), Loriel (a promotion dancer for Pump It Up!), Javier and Katy (played by Diego Luna and Romola Garai in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights and Sakura Kinomoto (of Card Captor Sakura). I code in NoteTab Light and used the Arial as my primary font.
Layout notes; The layout image is 500 pixels by 500 pixels; very large and my sympathies for any inconvenience and unwieldly navigation this may cause. I made font size small in hopes of balancing the hugeness of the graphics; I hope it doesn't annoy anyone too much. Um, I may have gone overboard with the iPod idea.
History; Born December 2004, this site is a silly yet useful addition to my subsites. Up until July 2005, it used a premade layout from Magitek Designs; a great design site. I used the layout sweethearts featuring Yuka from Random Walk.
What For? The purpose of having a wishlist is because (1) I like to keep track of the things I'm trying to earn enough to buy, (2) useful reference for when someone wants to know what I want for a holiday and (3) an easy way for visitors and friends to learn more about my tastes, I suppose. And no, I'm not trying into lure guests into buying me stuff. Stuff is crossed off as I get them or decide I don't want 'em.
Why separate? I liked the idea of having my wishlist less connected with my site. A bonus is while it would be weird to have five pages dedicated to the things I'd like to own, it isn't weird at all when it has it's own little site. Maybe?
